Sixth grade students will be issued a homework book (The World and It’s People) that is expected to stay AT HOME. We have a class set of books for class work.
Homework is every night Monday- Thursday, and will be checked in class the next day. Students will copy their homework assignment in their agenda book daily and the agenda book will be checked and graded on Friday for completion. Students will receive partial credit for homework not completed on time during the week IF it is turned in on Friday of that week.
When students don’t have a set Social Studies homework assignment, I will assign AR reading for that night and parents are expected to sign in the Social Studies box of the agenda book for that day indicating that your child did
read.
Each student should have an AR book at all times.
******** PLEASE CHECK THE AGENDA BOOK PERIODICALLY*********
